Weekend Hunt In The Heat

A call from mates to be invited on a pigging trip is always welcomed, This time the call came from George to tell me that him and an old mate ( Kai ) i haven't seen in a few years had a spare seat. After getting the OK from the Mrs the next thing i new i was loading my dogs into Kai's Hilux and we were North bound.    Arriving just before lunchtime we unloaded all our gear, and got settled into camp. Being already pretty hot we decided to go for a quick drive around the property to set some Yabbie traps and get our bearings around the property.   After a lap around the property we went back to camp, cooked up a couple of snags and waited for the temperature to start to drop. With temperatures reaching over 44 degrees it wasn't worth risking our dogs health chasing pigs around.   As the sun dropped we made a plan of attack and decided to wind scent a few dams with the dogs.
